Hotel Moskva

Hotel Moskva (Moscow) is a perfect place to go to for a cup of coffee and a piece of cake on a snowy day. So on one of such days I called two of my friends Stefan and Jelena a.k.a. Djokina, dressed them up, put makeup on them and bribed them with cake to pose for Dario and me (it works every time)!

Najlepše mesto za kafu i kolače dok gledate kroz prozor kako promiču pahulje je Hotel Moskva. Tako da mi je bilo vrlo lako da ubedim Stefana i Jelenu, poznatiju kao Đokinu, da mi poziraju u zamenu za kolače jednog belog januarskog dana. Dok čekate da sneg padne ove godine i potrčite ka Moskvi, uživajte u ovim slikama!

Boyfriend jeans

I like to get up early on my summer holidays because I enjoy swimming in the morning while the sea is still calm and there are not a lot of people around. On this particular morning I didn't head out straight to the beach as I wanted to surprise everybody with a nice breakfast. BUT, I soon realised that all of my clothes were in the room our friends were sleeping in. As I didn't want to wake them up and ruin the surprise I put on the first thing in sight - my boyfriend's jeans...and then I added some red lipstick and rimmed my Cupid's bow gold.

Needless to say, breakfast was a bit late that morning...

Fotke su nastale na ovogodišnjem dvonedeljnom odmoru na Kefaloniji. Umesto uobičajenog jutarnjeg plivanja, odlučila sam da obradujem saputnike doručkom.Ali, sam ubrzo shvatila da mi je odeća ostala u sobi u kojoj su drugari spavali. Kako nisam htela da pokvarim iznenađenje (i njihov odmor ranim ustajanjem) obukla sam šta mi je bilo pod ruku - džins svog dečka.

Posle je samo trebalo dodati crveni karmin i oivičiti ga zlatnim lajnerom.

P.S. Srećom, karmin je vodootporan :)

Luckily, the lipstick was waterproof.

Elle 2012 - Sisters Bonding

My sister and I were published in Serbian Elle (september 2012) as the winners of Elle London Style competition and each of us received a basket full of Crabtree & Evelyn goodies (yey!). Plus, we had loads of fun doing it! Take a look :)

This turtleneck reminded me of the quietness of snowy winter evenings, fragrant teas and good books.

Inspiracija za ove fotke je bila predstojeća zima, ruke koje se greju nad šoljom čaja, pahulje koje promiču i večeri provedene na toplom uz dobru knjigu.

About me

      I'm a Belgrade based freelance make-up artist. Also an English teacher. And a voracious reader.

      When I was young I used to flick through fashion magazines, imagine they were my family albums and tell stories.

       And that's what stuck all these years-telling stories through a lens! I'll see a a gorgeous dress/ pair of polka dot gloves/ extravagant hair piece and assemble the rest in my head (the mood of the scene, hair, make-up,expression, the rest of the outfit...) and try to make it happen.
