My Evil Doppelgänger

While rummaging through my wardrobe one day, amongst many other interesting things, I came across this plaid skirt and upon seeing it I had several thought clashing in my mind- Charles Dickens' novels, evil headmistresses and orphanages, Tim Burton's films (Helen Bonam Carter's hair to be precise) so all I had to do was tease my hair, do a smokey eye, find a stick and Voila - the evil me was born!


Da li ste se ikada pitali kako bi izgledala vaša zla sestra? Moja je upraviteljica sirotišta bez srca, odgajana je u romanima Čarlsa Dikensa, ide kod istog frizera kao Helen Bonam Karter i ima epizodne uloge u filmovima Tima Bartona.

Ladder and Flowers

Although I would be a perfect model for a DIY store this post has nothing to do with it (except for the fact that we dismantled our dining room and transformed it into a studio). 

It has to do with soft September mornings when your skin is still brown and the sound of rolling waves is still in your ears, when the everyday problems and work still haven't burnt you out and the creative ideas flow freely. 

Here's to one of those mornings...

                            There's nothing wrong with my foot,it's just that the ladder wasn't                        very stable so I tried to anchor myself to it.

 Fotke su nastale jednog septembarskog jutra kada je koža i dalje bila tamna, kosa slana, a  mozak još uvek neopterećen svakodnevnim brigama i poslom, iako neka od ovih fotki može da vas zavara da pomislite da se radi o posteru za Praktičnu Ženu.

Postujem ove fotke, u nadi da će jednog dana sva jutra biti kao to septembarsko...

Winter Wonderland

The snow is finally here and so are some of my favourite activities: catching snowflakes on your tongue, baking cookies with my sister, drinking mulled wine outside, ice skating (or at least trying to), wearing fuzzy slippers, reading books in bed or just snuggling.

Svake godine se obradujem snegu, ne nužno i posledicama-bljuzga,led,mlataranje rukama dok pokušavas da održis ravnotežu da ne padneš. Radujem se zato sto sneg predstavlja zvanični početak mojih omiljenih zimskih aktivnosti, kao na primer: hvatanje pahulja jezikom, klizanje ili ispijanje kuvanog vina dok gledaš druge kako klizaju, spremanje kolača koji ispune celu kucu mirisnom toplinom, nošenje patofni, čitanje knjige u krevetu ispod tri jorgana itd...Slobodno mi dajte nove ideje za zimske aktivnosti u komentarima :)

 I could have been Miss December-one insurance company asked to put one of these photos in their calendar, try and guess which one!

 Jednu od slika na ovom postu trazila je jedna osiguravajuca kuca za svoj kalendar (mesec-decembar da budemo precizni), ali Marić nije hteo da me proda za male pare!
